Sumo Digital, the UK developers behind the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing games, Crackdown 3 and numerous other games, have announced to be working on new projects with publishers 2K.
The projects will involve the main Sheffield office as well as Red Kite Games, which is under Sumo Digital’s ownership.
What exactly are the projects- new IP or an established one- remains to be seen. “We’re delighted to be working with 2K and look forward to disclosing details of the projects in due course,” said Gary Dunn, Managing Director, Sumo Digital.
What we do know is that those studios will be busy- and are also hiring- as they gear up with whatever’s 2K has in store for them right now.
Their latest game, Sonic Team Racing, is out now on PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
