Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Deleyed To February 2024

Hot off the heels of the latest State Of Play broadcast, the previous big blockbuster AAA title to feature on a State Of Play, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, announced a delay.

Originally revealed to be released one month from now on May 26, the game is now delayed to February 2, 2024.

“We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players,” the statement reads.

Rumours and reports of Suicide Squad’s delay, developed by Rocksteady, started to appear right after the State Of Play showcase was revealed where we see the co-op third-person shooter in action, which also has loot, gear score and battle passes.

What seemed to be a game already set for release is getting more than half a year of development time. While we hope the game will turn out better with the extra development time being afforded, we also hope the individual developers are mentally okay to keep continuing development work. It’s one thing to have a deadline increased early on to alleviate pressure, but it’s another when the deadline was within reach and you’re ready to take a break only for the deadline to be moved back further at the last minute.

Today, PlayStation is showcasing 25 minutes of Final Fantasy XVI gameplay.
