Stellar Blade has a few side quests which require solving a puzzle. And it’s not the sort that you can brute force your way out of.

This short guide has the solution to the fdsfsdfds quest, as well as how the solution is derived for those curious

## Stellar Blade Wisdom Puzzle Solution

Go to the input device on one of the pillars in the room leading to the Presence Chamber elevator and input the following: **5005**

## How To Solve The Wisdom Puzzle

After completing the simple puzzle, later Eve will find a new, harder puzzle to solve. The math puzzle is presented as follows:

- 37#21 = 928
- 77#44 =3993
- 123#17 = 14840
- 71#6 = ?

This is still an arithmetic puzzle, clued as such when you see the rewards for completing this. So it still only involve the simple math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Finding the pattern here is tough, as it’s not obvious, and there’s a red herring that can send you off the trail. But the first thing you should try is doing simple operations on the first two numbers of each sequence.

You should find that the addition and subtraction results (third and fourth column below) to be the most useful- there are not too large of a number and there are rounded numbers, no decimals.

No clear pattern has emerged yet.

The red herring in the puzzle is the sequence 77#44 = 3993. It looks like it’s not following a pattern when you compare the second column and the third column (the last two digits are the same). But instead of dismissing the idea of those two columns having a pattern, follow it.

Something interesting happens if you the numbers in the second column and then subtract the third column (the addition of the numbers from the initial sequence).

No pattern just yet, but the numbers in the new fifth column of the table are all even numbers.

Divide the result with the numbers from the third column again, and that’s where the pattern appear.

Now you see the pattern. The answer of subtracting the two numbers (37-21) is one digit higher than the answer on the last column ( (928- (37+21))/ (37+21) ).

So from here, we can assume ??? is 64 based on the pattern we found. And from there, work backwards using some algebra to find the solution. Let’s replace “?” and “??” with a and b (just to make the equation readable), and work from there.

- b= 64×77
- b=
**4928**

Replacing “??”(b) with 4928 in the table and we get this:

And that’s just one more algebraic equation need solving and we should get the answer:

- a= 4928+77=
