Steel Hunters, the free-to-play extraction/battle royale/hero shooter by Wargaming is getting another round of beta playtest. And that’s happening right now, for the entire weekend.
From February 20-24, players can give Steel Hunters a go. This new playtest, the latest since the playtest right after the surprise announcement during The Game Awards 2024, will contain new content.
The top 10 players on the daily leaderboard of the Steel Hunters beta will even win Steam gift cards and exclusive physical merch. Meanwhile, any player participating this round of beta can get the Trenchwalker skin.
The Steel Hunters beta can be downloaded on Steam or straight from Wargaming’s Game Center launcher.
Steel Hunters is Wargaming’s brand-new IP, featuring mechs and giant robots of all kinds that blends elements of extraction gameplay, battle royale and hero shooters.
The weekend also sees discounts for all of Wargaming’s free-to-play games on Steam (World Of Tanks, World Of Warships, World Of Tanks Blitz and World Of Warplanes) as well as their “legacy collection” of games which includes the original Master Of Orion trilogy of games (a classic 4X strategy game series) and Total Annihilation, available until February 27.
