Silent Hill F, the latest new entry to Konami’s survival horror series was released last week, and today the publisher announced it already sold a million copies as of September 27.
That’s a million copies sold in two days, the game released on September 25.

Penned by acclaimed writer Ryukishi07, with creature and character designs by kera and developed by NeoBards Entertainment, Silent Hill F has found its audience.
Silent Hill F takes a more psychological horror experience and switched locales from the US to Japan, for the first time. But the looming fog, grotesque creatures and horrors as well as returning composer Akira Yamaoka (as two of the game’s composers together with Kensuke Inage), this entry can still be seen as a proper Silent Hill title.
Set in the 1960s, players see the world through high school student Shimizu Hinako as her hometown Ebisugaoka enveloped under a mysterious fog. With only limited resources, Hinako must go uncover a mystery, face against horrific creatures and even confront traumatic decisions in this latest take on the iconic horror series.
Konami has slowly and surely started making big-budget video games again. Silent Hill F follows the success of Team Bloober’s Silent Hill 2 remake, and recently the publisher released a remake for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which we reviewed here.
Silent Hill F is out now on PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
