Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster Global Releases This May For PC, PS4, Switch

The HD remaster for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne was released late last year in Japan. But now we have word on when it’s out for the rest in the world in English.

The global release will also include a version coming to Steam. Atlus has been eager to put more games on PC after Persona 4 Golden did well (and so was the recent release of Persona 5 Strikers).

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster includes the Chronicle Pack DLC- which includes a story branch where Raidou from the SMT Devil Summoner Series appears. It also includes the Merciful Difficulty- and easy mode. But don’t be ashamed for using it- Nocturne is notoriously known for its punishing difficulty. You will learn how buffs and debuffs are integral to the battle system in this JRPG- or die a lot.

Thankfully, the HD remaster lets you save anywhere (suspend save). The game also includes remastered 3D models and backgrounds and both Japanese and new-for-this-release English voiceovers.

And yes, if you want Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne Featuring Dante From The Devil May Cry Series, he’s there too, as DLC, replacing the story bits involving Raidou with Capcom’s stylish demon hunter. He’s part of the Maniax DLC available on launch, or as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster releases on May 25 for the PS4, PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
