Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster Announced, Coming To PS4 And Switch Next Year

At the recent Nintendo Direct Mini, Atlus revealed that Shin Megami Tensei III will be remastered.

Known as Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne in English, the game is coming to PS4 as well as Nintendo Switch, 17 years since the original PS2 JRPG.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will now feature voice acting and remastered graphics.

As spotted in the trailer, Raidou from the Devil Summoner series (a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei) makes an appearance- just like he did in the Japanese-only release of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition. Which means we won’t see Dante from the Devil May Cry series appear in this HD remaster, which appeared in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (or Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax in Japan).

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will be released on October 29 in Japan, though the west (and the rest of the English-speaking audience) won’t have to wait too long as it’s coming out in English in Spring 2021 for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
