Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been leaked, thanks to a accidental listing on US retailer Target’s website. According to Kotaku, the game would “will continue the story of Talion and Celebrimbor (the two playable main characters of the first game) who are now working to forge their own Ring of Power to take on Sauron”.

The original game, Shadow of Mordor, featured the highly praised Nemesis system, where randomly named enemies in Sauron’s Army are generated uniquely with each playthrough of the game. Each nemesis has their own personality and will rise or fall within their social structure as the game progresses according to the players action.
Not much is known about the official release date and availability on which platform, with the PS4 and Xbox One version only being shown at the Target (now taken down) webpage with no news for a PC release and a ‘release date of 22 August’.
We will keep you guys posted when an official announcement comes out by the game’s publisher, Warner Brothers.
UPDATE: Shadow Of War has been officially announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with support for PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio. It will be out by August 22nd. First gameplay look will be revealed next week. Here’s the official announcement trailer:
