2019 was a great game for video games, right? What a year. Taking a page out of Nintendo (and various other services) showing off statistics from the year, Playstation lets you see how much time you spent on your PS4, and on what games with the Playstation 2019 Wrap-Up.
The Playstation 2019 Wrap-Up can be accessed through this website here.
Log in to your PSN account and you will be presented with various stats from the past year including your top 3 games based on time spent, how many hours overall across PS4 and PS VR and the genre of games you spent most time on.
You also get a free theme you can redeem near the end, based on the game genre that dominated your playtime in 2019. All of them have rad skeletons.
Note that the link only lets you redeem the theme for US players. Another way to around is go to playstation.com and visit the Playstation 2019 Wrap-Up from there.
This is a neat little feature to reflect and/or regret your game choices throughout the year. The PS4 does not make playtime visible, but thanks to these stats, we do know it exists, just not being surfaced to the player. Maybe a feature for PS5?
