Save Goblins From Extinction In Gorgeous Turn-Based RPG Goblin Stone, Coming In 2022

Here’s an interesting looking indie game not coming out this year. Goblin Stone is a mix of roguelike (like Slay The Spire) and turn-based RPG with permadeath (Darkest Dungeon) created by Orc Chop Games.

In world of Goblin Stone, the little green goblins are cuter and on the verge of extinction thanks to humans. Now it’s time to fight back.

The world will be procedurally generated and you’ll be fighting against humans, elves and dwarves with your ragtag group of goblins. They can come in different classes, you can later breed so that next-gen goblins are genetically superior and hope to the RNG that permadeath doesn’t screw you over.

There’s a quite the production value seen here. All the art are hand-drawn and there’s a narrator, the voice of James Smillie, that will accompany you (like Darkest Dungeon). And its music composed by Peter McConnell (Hearthstone, Broken Age, Monkey Island series).

Goblin Stone will release sometime in 2022. The game’s Steam page can be found here. A demo is set to release on March 29.
