Now this is an interesting partnership. Romero Games, the developer team founded by John and Brenda Romero, announced that they are working on a strategy game with prominent Swedish publisher Paradox Interactive.
We're excited to announce that we are working on a strategy game with @Pdxinteractive! Look for more info at E3 this year. If you want some advance peeks at the game's theme, sign up at https://t.co/IxO4IXFFe6 pic.twitter.com/V3C3vs0ISn

No word about the game is about, but there is a sign-up page to see the game’s theme ahead of E3 2019, implying there will be more information by that time.
The developers were last heard with their unofficial Doom megawad (read: mod) called Sigil, which is now delayed to April.
Paradox has been oozing in money thanks to its long support for their major strategy games like Europa Universalis IV and Crusader Kings 2. Their latest games, Cities: Skylines and Battletech have also been doing well sales-wise too. Paradox also has some other bring games in the works, the most prominent being Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the sequel to the cult-hit first-person RPG.
