ASUS ROG’s latest attempt at making small gaming laptops cool again, the ROG Flow X13, now has a confirmed availability and pricing in Malaysia.
How small? It has a 13-inch screen, only 1.58cm thin, and weighs 1.3kg. For a gaming laptop, that’s tiny, and it can be paired with an external GPU for more power when gaming.
The Flow X13 will arrive at the end of this February, with three variants. The cheaper option of the two- equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS CPU, is priced at RM5,999.
However, if you’re looking for to get the ROG XG Mobile eGPU (external GPU) housing together with the Flow X13, it will go to a whopping RM13,499. But that’s including the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, not just the housing. This also comes with its own unique laptop spec variant, with a 4K 60Hz display.

Right now, the ROG XG Mobile can only be purchased with a bundle of the Flow X13 of that particular spec. However, ASUS Malaysia stated to us that the XG Mobile will be made available as a separate purchase sometime next year. Should you buy the other Flow X13 variants as a standalone, rest assured it can be connected to the XG Mobile if you purchase one in the future.
