Rocket League Now Has Full Cross-Play For PS4, PC, Xbox One And Switch

18

Rocket League, the sports game played with cars, has been pushing for cross-platform play and today they have finally realised that dream in full. Players on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Switch can all be playing together online in Casual, Competitive, and Extra Modes.

Cross-play is on by default, but it can be toggled in the options menu under the gameplay tab as “cross-platfom play”.

Developers Psyonix are still working on making full cross-play parties, where everyone can join in a party regardless of platform they play on. That will be coming in an upcoming update, the first game update for 2019.

PS4 was the last console to allow cross-play. Before this, only Fortnite has cross-play with PS4 and other consoles and PC. Now we can add Rocket League to the list.
