Resident Evil Veronica Sees The Return Of Clare Redfield, Coming in 2027

Capcom has officially announced Resident Evil Veronica during the recent Summer Games Fest showcase, a remake for the title originally released 26 years ago, in 2000.

The game sees you playing as both Redfield siblings, starting with Claire Redfield, who’s searching for his brother, before ending up in an island prison that’s run by the Umbrella Corporation, as a T-Virus outbreak happens. Which also means Chris Redfield, is also nearby as he confronts the series iconic villain, Albert Wesker, once more.

This continues the trend for Capcom for releasing a new mainline game (RE Requiem) along with a remake follows suit, so this new edition of Veronica could peak people’s interest since this was a later release on the Sega Dreamcast back then.

Resident Evil Veronica is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series Consoles, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC in 2027.
