Resident Evil Resistance Adds Nicholai As Mastermind (And A Playable Nemesis)

Just as Capcom’s roadmap revealed, we now have a new Mastermind character for Resident Evil Resistance. The multiplayer component of Resident Evil 3 is now adding Nicholai Ginovaef, the baddie from the campaign.

Like the many mastermind characters, each has a playable bioweapon- a big monster- to haunt and hunt the other four players in this asymmetric multiplayer mode. For Nicholai, he gets to control Nemesis- the hulking monstrosity that hunts Jill Valentine throughout the main game. And also like the main game, Nemesis can track down the survivors with ease- rocket launcher in hand too.

Since Jill is also playable in Resident Evil Resistance, you can re-create those tense moments in RE3 again in some form.

Nicholai, and Nemesis, is now available on Resident Evil Resistance, part of Resident Evil 3. For more of our thoughts on Capcom’s latest remake, you can find our review of RE3 here, and our current impressions of RE Resistance here.
