Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo Now Available

At the Capcom Showcase broadcast, it was revealed that the upcoming remake of the survival horror classic Resident Evil 4 will be getting a demo.

The Chainsaw Demo should cover the early parts of the game during the village sequence, where the infected villages including one wielding a chainsaw will be present.

Unlike past Resident Evil remake demos, the Chainsaw Demo has no time limit. So spend as much time as you want with this version of the game while waiting for the full release later this month.

The Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw demo is available on all platforms (PlayStation Store, Steam).

The remake of Resident Evil 4 will see Capcom tackling its biggest challenge yet, remaking an iconic classic. The 2005 game, which has had many ports including one on VR devices, is highly regarded as the hallmark standard of mixing survival horror and action elements. The game sees Leon S. Kennedy, one of the two playable leads from Resident Evil 2, return as a special agent tasked to rescue the daughter of the President of the United States.

Resident Evil 4, the 2023 remake, will be out on March 24 for the PS4, PS5, PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
