Registration Now Open For Tekken 8 Cross-Play Beta Test

Bandai Namco has announced that it is now opening registration for closed network tests of its upcoming fighting game Tekken 8.

The closed network tests are open to PC and console users. Interested players can go and register here.

The first test will commence on July 21 for PS5.

The next week, July 28, will see the test opening up to Xbox Series X|S and PC players.

PC specs requirements and other FAQ can be found here.

Tekken 8 will be the first game in the series to support cross-play. The closed network test will feature 16 characters and 5 stages. At the time of writing, only 15 characters have been revealed.

The final character in the Closed Network Test is Claudio, so expect to see his dedicated trailer appear in the coming weeks ahead of the test.

Tekken 8 will bring some new mechanics to the 3D fighting game to encourage players to go on in the offence.

Tekken 8 has no release date yet, but it’s coming to PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
