At CES 2024, Razer unveils the 2024 refresh for the its gaming laptop line, the Razer Blade.
The 2024 Razer Blade 16 is equipped with the world’s first OLED 240Hz 16-inch display. CPU goes up to an Intel Core i9-14900HX, with the GPU options going all the way to an Nvidia RTX 4090 Laptop (175W TGP) graphics, the highest-end graphics card Nvidia is offering right now for laptops.
The OLED screen is at 2560×1600 resolution (16: 10 aspect ratio), with a 0.2ms response time, and DCI-P3 100% colour gamut. Plus, it includes VESA ClearMR 11000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications. So the display is good for gaming and content creation. And it does come with Nvidia Studio drivers.
Plus, the laptop can natively switch between UHD+(a bit more than 4K resolution, due to the 16:10 aspect ratio) 120 Hz and FHD+ (a bit more than 1080p resolution) 240Hz. And it has a vapour chamber for cooling.

Meanwhile, the smaller Razer Blade 14 (at 4.05lbs/less than 2 kilograms and 0.71-inch thick) is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU and QHD+ (2560×1600) 240Hz Calman verified display. Its GPU goes up to an Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Laptop (140W TGP).
Razer is also teasing a new, larger Razer Blade, the Razer Blade 18. As the name implies, this will have an 18-inch screen. An 18-inch 4K 165Hz screen, the first in the world. And it will also be using Thunderbolt 5 for its ports. More details will be released later this year.
The Razer Blade gaming laptops all have a unibody design made out of aluminium with an anodised finish and are available in Black or Mercury (white-ish) colours.
The 2024 Razer Blade 16 is available now while the pre-orders for the Razer Blade 14 will begin on January 23 at Razer.com, Razer Stores and authorised retailers.
