Razer Kiyo Pro Webcam Offers Professional Quality Visuals For Video Conferences And Streaming

For those working from home because a pandemic is still going on, you might have realised the importance of good quality webcams. The ones included in laptops are just okay, but if you’re willing to spend more to get better image quality across your video conferences, Razer has a solution.

The Razer Kiyo Pro is a USB webcam that uses a Type 1/2.8 CMOS sensor with Starvis technology, which allows it to capture bright and clear image in any sort of work-from-home setups. Even in dim rooms with not-so-good lighting.

Video resolution can be 1080p at up to 60fps, and can use HDR at up to 30fps.

The Razer Kiyo Pro also caters to another kind of video conference setup- group video calls. As in having a group of people connected through one PC setup. The Kiyo Pro can capture at 103°, 90° or 80° field of view, with 103° being good at getting many folks to be in the frame.

It also includes a built-in mic too. Not the best, but with an omnidirectional polar pattern, it’s great for group video calls.

Of course, this being Razer, you can use it for your game streaming setup as well. And there’s a privacy cover included should you wish to close the rather big lens when not in use. It includes a clip to put on top of monitors, but you can also mount it on a tripod setup as well.

The Razer Kiyo Pro is out now for RM1,149.00 at select retailers. It’s expensive, but given its design for work purposes first, this is more of a business expense.
