Every game IP wants a strategy RPG spin-off it seems. The developers of hit-MMORPG in Southeast Asia Ragnarok Online, Gravity, has made a free-to-play mobile strategy RPG: Ragnarok Tactics.
Set in the same world of Midgard, you have to build a team of monsters to defeat enemies instead of one adventurer. It’s also an idle game, where you can make progress even if you don’t log in every day. It has real-time PvP and guilds.
Gravity’s subsidiary, Gravity Game Tech, is in charge of overseeing the Ragnarok Tactics in Southeast Asia. The game has already soft-launched in Thailand on November 8th, with the rest of Southeast Asia soon to follow. For now, you can pre-register at this link to show your interest and scoop some in-game freebies.
Ragnarok Tactics already has post-launch updates, with the latest to drop is Guild Wars, which will be available for players in Thailand on December 19th.
