Head’s up. Playstation Asia has announced that prices for PS Plus subscriptions will be increasing starting August 1st 2019.
The revised prices for PS Plus subscriptions will be as follows:
- 1 Month Subscription: RM 21-> RM 29
- 3 Month Subscription: RM 43 -> RM 69
- 12 Month Subscription: RM 129 -> RM 159
That’s a RM20 increase on the usual 1-year subscription, but the 3-months subscription now looks unappealing despite being only a RM16 hike.
If you have a PSN account, you should have received this information either as a notification or from your email.
This is expected, as PS Plus prices in North America, for example, has seen a rise for some time. Though this recent price change in Malaysia is part of many regions, including Japan and several countries in Europe, facing the same circumstances.
In any case, as long as you top up your subscriptions before July 31st, you can still get the normal prices as currently listed. Maybe use that Days Of Play promo starting next week to get your PS Plus subscriptions for cheaper too.
Next month, PS Plus members for the rest of the world get to download and play Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania.
