Planet Zoo South America Pack DLC Announced, Coming This April Alongside Free Update

Planet Zoo is getting its second paid DLC pack. The first one adds more Arctic features and animals, this time we’re going to South America.

The South America Pack DLC will be adding five new animals, plus 250 new buildings, scenery and foliage pieces to customise your zoo.

The five animals included are:

  • Jaguar
  • Capuchin Monkey
  • Giant Anteater
  • Red-Eyed Tree Frog
  • Llama

As it has now become the standard with most games, the release of the DLC accompanies a free update adding new features.

Update 1.2, which is free for everyone, will be adding a Genealogy tab so you can tell the bloodlines of your animals- who’s their parents, siblings, mates, and offspring. You can also view a simplified genetic code of these animals.

There are also more difficulty changes, tweaks to how animal feeding works, more UI additions (like a search feature in the in-game zoopedia), plus extra building pieces and foliage for free. More details can be found here.

Planet Zoo South America Pack DLC, alongside Update 1.2, will launch on April 7th. The game is out now on PC via Steam.
