Obsidian is known for making sequels to great RPGs, Star Wars Knights Of The Republic II, Fallout: New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Dungeon Siege III. But they never made a sequel to any of their previous works.
That is about to change with Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Pillars is throwback to old isometric CRPGs, the original game funded through Kickstarter and received quite a success, enuough to keep the company going through turbulent times. The sequel is also crowdfunded, but through Fig this time.
Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire will have you navigate the seas on your own ship, exploring the new region of Deadfire. Expect choices that matter, seven different companions to recruit and more CRPG goodness.
It will be out on PC on April 4.
