Persona 5 Royal Out Now On PS Store Asia

Persona 5 Royal, the new-and-improved version of Persona 5, is out now on PS4. And on PS Store Asia too, in English.

An earlier store listing showed that the Asia release would include the English and Chinese versions to be released simultaneously in February. That was later changed. The English Persona 5 Royal on PS Store Asia is released one day behind the worldwide release date of March 31st.

But eh, better late than never.

Persona 5 Royal fleshes out parts of the already lengthy JRPG, and includes a new party member Kasumi, and an additional mode where you fight the protagonist from Persona 3 and 4.

The base game is priced at RM252, with the Deluxe Edition includes a DLC pack that adds more costumes for Kasumi. The Ultimate Edition includes all the additional DLCs on offer.

If you already played the original Persona 5, unfortunately, you have to double-dip. It’s a whole new game with no way to import your save (or get the Royal additions as DLC).

If you never got around to try out Persona 5, however, this is the one to get.
