Overwatch’s New Hero Orisa Will Be Out In March 21

Orisa the quadruped omnic tank will be the freshest face in Overwatch come March 21, as Blizzard confirms its time frame for the new heroes release. Usually, new content for Overwatch will just drop in a new update, but looks like they are shaking up a bit by throwing the date with behind-the scenes video of how Orisa came to be- as heard from the recent GDC, and more.

The new behind-the-scenes video is also another new thing. Usually we only heard the developers’ word via a video of Game Director Jeff Kaplan talking to a camera for a long time (enough for one crafty Youtuber to make remixeswhich he himself has embraced in a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything thread).

Check it out below:

Blizzard gave a head’s up earlier that Orisa may take some time before going live, so that could explain the announcement. Seems like development of the new tank hero is all fine that it will be live next week for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
