It’s the usual new Nvidia driver update for the month of May. But there’s one new big thing coming with the update. For the first time, Nvidia has now extended its DLSS tech to games running in virtual reality.
No Man’s Sky, mechanic sim Wrench and the VR-only survival shooter Into The Radius now support Nvidia DLSS when running in VR. The upres technology that uses AI deep learning instead of raw computation power should provide a performance boost. Nvidia claims you can run No Man’s Sky in VR on Ultra while maintaining 90fps when using an Oculus Quest 2 with a GeForce RTX 3080.

Other than that, more games are getting RTX ray-tracing and DLSS. Including the retro-FPS Amid Evil, which now has ray-tracing and DLSS support.
The rest of the games with added RTX features are:
- Aron’s Adventure (DLSS)
- Everspace 2 (DLSS)
- Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition (DLSS)
- No Man’s Sky (DLSS)
- Redout: Space Assault (ray-tracing, DLSS)
- Scavengers (DLSS)
- Wrench (DLSS)
Additionally, the new 466.47 GeForce driver adds support for the PC release of Days Gone and the upcoming dodgeball multiplayer game Knockout City. You can download it now here or via the GeForce Experience app.
