With The Game Awards edging closer, there’s tons of rumours and speculations, as well as legit teases, being spread around. One of which is a rumour that Rocksteady, the makers of the Batman Arkham trilogy, is making a new Superman game.
The rumour has been heard for some time this year, including back at E3 but never materialise. The same rumour was brought back up a few weeks ago, said that an official announcement of Superman: World’s Finest, will be done at The Game Awards.
However, consider the rumour squashed. Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill has tweeted that they are not making any announcements at The Game Awards. And their next game is not Superman.
Looking forward to #TheGameAwards this year! We’re still hard at work in our development bunker so don’t expect an announcement from @Rocksteadygames. When it’s ready to show, you’ll be the first to know. Spoiler: it’s not Superman ?

Rocksteady has been pretty quiet after the launch of Batman Arkham Knight back in 2015. And it seems that they will continue to do so for longer.
