Typically, a Gran Turismo 7 update should be out last week, the last week of the month. But October 2023 will not see any free content update.
However, the good news is, there’s an update coming in November- this week as a matter of fact.
As usual, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi teased silhouettes of the new cars coming with the update, and it’s more than the usual three or four cars in a batch. We’re getting seven.
Gran Turismo 7 hasn’t been consistent with its update cadence for this year. It missed one update in July and January.
While the base game remains decent, the GT7 experience post-game and as a live service still leaves a lot to be desired. At least this batch of new cars, if predictions from fans are correct (which they mostly are- sift through the replies of that tweet and see), there are some healthy additions to the racing game.
Will we see a new track? This year only new track was added, the reimagined Grand Valley Speedway, now dubbed Grand Valley Highway 1.
GT7 is out now on PS4 and PS5. Check out our review of the game here.
