No Gran Turismo 7 Content Update In April 2025, But One’s Coming Mid-May

Gran Turismo 7 skipped a month for its regular content update back in April. While developer Polyphony Digital have been regularly released these free updates to the racing game on a monthly basis, it’s not big news that an update skipped a month. Especially when it’s just delayed from the usual last Thursday of the month to three weeks later.

Series producer Kazunori Yamauchi has posted a teaser for the new update, featuring the usual silhouette of cars. Including what looks like a kei truck. And one more crossover.

More eagle-eyed players, as reported by GTPlanet, spotted the details of the upcoming update, Update 1.59, was pushed to the PS5’s Official News feature ahead of time, revealing the four new cars. No tracks, just more cars. But still funny to see the PS5 leaked this news.

We should get proper information of the May 2025 content update later in a few days. And it’s likely we’ll see the update go live by May 15, this Thursday.

Gran Turismo 7 is out now on PS4 and PS5.
