Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is a remaster of the first three Spyro The Dragon games originally made by Insomniac Games. The remaster, built from the ground up, is handled by Toys For Bob- the team behind Skylanders in which Spyro was part of the toys-to-life lineup.
This new little snippet was tweeted by the Spyro The Dragon Twitter account, showing the near end of the Stone Hills level. For some folks, this early level is a memorable one that it was included in the demo version available in many demo discs years back. In fact, the Gamer Matters crew might have discussed this matter on a past episode of dia.log- The Gamer Matters Podcast.
Anyway, here’s the snippet in question:

Should you need a reminder of how the level looked like on the original PS1, have a look in this video here. It maintains a similar geometry, with lusher grass and more detail everywhere. The feel of the original game, being bright and colourful, remains.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy will charge to the stores on September 21st for the PS4 and Xbox One.
