New Nvidia GeForce Driver For Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War And More Now Available

Head’s up to Nvidia graphics card users. A new GeForce Game Ready driver is out now and it’s preparation for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. You can get the game free from buying a new Nvidia RTX 3080 or RTX 3090 GPU.

The latest (and longest to write) Call Of Duty title will support Nvidia RTX and DLSS. In this game, ray-tracing ambient occlusion, local shadows, and sun shadows are used and powered by RTX. DLSS should in theory give better framerates without sacrificing much quality through use of AI deep learning tech.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will also use Nvidia Highlights that auto-captures multiplayer highlights, Nvidia Ansel for capturing hi-res screenshots in campaign and Nvidia Reflex- a tech that reduces system latency (less input lag).

The version 457.30 driver also adds Nvidia Reflex to Destiny 2, which should increase control responsiveness across all GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 900 series cards or newer.

The driver should also set you up for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Godfall.

You can download the new GeForce driver by going through the GeForce Experience app or through the website here.
