The Gran Turismo World Series 2023 World Finals will be taking place from December 1 to 3 in Barcelona, Spain. This will see the fastest drivers in Gran Turismo 7, after a series of online and offline events, compete to determine the champions for the Nations Cup, Manufacturers Cup and the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup.
Regular GT7 players are more than welcome to participate in the celebration with new banner events now live.
Like in the past, there is two sets of limited-time races where you too can try out the car and track combo the finalists will be racing in the World Finals. The Manufacturers Cup is set on the Nurburgring 24h layout using Gr.3 cars of the 12 competing manufacturers whilst the Nations Cup will see 12 Red Bull X2019 race cars cladded in the national or racing colours of the competing nations (which includes Malaysia) race at Spa 24h.
Collector Level 6 or above is required to participate in the two races.
The rewards are rather stingy though, it’s a one-time prize of 150,000 credits for the Manufacturers and 190,000 for Nations. You can get double of that if you get the Clean Race Bonus, but still, the base prize is a significant drop from similar events in the past.

Alongside that, players can also watch each of the final races for the three championships to unlock a Vision Gran Turismo car. A new Vision Gran Turismo car, yet to be unveiled, if you watch the Manufacturers Cup final on December 2 from within the game. A click of the button should count as an entry for the prize.
(On another note: It sure is an interesting practice to see a video game asking its players to click to a YouTube link from within the game.)
There’s also the “predict the winner” campaign as well, which you voting closes once the finals goes live.
