Xbox has revealed its slate of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and would you look at that, the header image is full of games this time. Nature is healing.
It’s another wave filled with indies, and an eclectic bunch at that. From horror to work simulator, from JRPG to boomer shooter. There’s plenty of variety with this early June 2023 wave.
One notable addition is the combo of Slayers X and Hypnospace Outlaw. The former, full name Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer, is a spin-off of the latter. Slayers X should be a zany FPS that’s worth a try, not just because it’s allegedly developed by this guy called Zane (which makes that specific word choice a pun), but also because it has layers of in-jokes for those who played Hypnospace Outlaw. Hopefully it’s also a good FPS in its own right.
Another interesting one is Anmesia: The Bunker. Apparently, there is a new Amnesia game, coming out soon, and possibly have immersive sim elements as you explore the dark corridors of a WWI bunker with some terrifying horror stalk and chase you.
