New Gameplay Trailer Shows The Many Things You Can Do In Red Dead Redemption II

The second part of gameplay trailer for the upcoming open world game Red Dead Redemption II is out now. While the first trailer gives you a glimpse of what you do in general as outlaw Arthur Morgan, the second part of the video highlights the many small things you interact in this world of a mordenising West.

Have a look at the four-minute video below:

And for those who just want to read the details, here’s some we can list out from the trailer:

  • A heavy emphasis of smooth transition between gameplay and cinematics
  • You can do heists (some footage presumably from the train heist as seen in recent preview coverage)
  • You can hold up a store or a caravan
  • You can burgle a house
  • You can go “loan sharking”
  • There are rival gangs and outlaws out in the world, some you might randomly encounter
  • Lawmen will track down your crime and investigate crime scenes
  • Accrue enough bounty on your head and bounty hunters will track you down
  • Dead Eye will level up as you progress. Now highlights enemy weak points
  • You can dress Arthur however you like
  • Arthur can grow his hair and beard, or shave it
  • Arthur can take baths or stay grimy and dirty, the crowd will react accordingly
  • There’s a fishing mini-game
  • You can dance in the campfire or help out by cutting some wood
  • You can watch cabaret shows
  • You can take on bounties
  • Just like any Red Dead game, you can duel
  • People will remember your actions, to what extent we don’t know yet
  • You can play the game entirely in the first-person
  • A reworked cinematic camera that should give more breathtaking angles

That’s.. a lot of things you can do. Rockstar has a strong track record, but we will have to see if all of these points (and the many other we missed) deliver.

Red Dead Redemption II is out on October 26th for the PS4 and Xbox One.
