A new console generation isn’t complete without a racing game reveal. And for the Xbox Series X, it has to Forza Motorsport.
Developers Turn 10 is working on a new Forza Motorsport game, simply titled Forza Motorsport. This 8th entry to the title will see ray-tracing being added to the ForzaTech game engine. Which means more reflections on cars, including cars that are reflecting off each other.
We have scant details other than that and this short teaser trailer, showing Laguna Seca (and the famous Corkscrew turn) with various cars including the Apollo Intensa Emozione and the Mazda RT24-P DPi-spec race car.
Also, the logo is a bit reworked- the fonts are different this time.
Forza Motorsport doesn’t seem to be a launch title- no release window is set yet. But when it comes out it will be on Xbox Series X and Windows 10 PC and part of Xbox Game Pass. No word on an Xbox One release, further suggesting this will be released later after the launch window.
