More Than 34,000 People Attended gamescom Asia 2023’s Entertainment Zone

gamescom Asia has released an executive report on the 2023 edition of the event, the first to be opened to the public.

One particularly interesting stat is how many people from the public, the gamers and fans, attended the Entertainment Zone, the show floor with game demos and booths.

More than 34,000 people, exactly 34,047, made the journey to Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore. The Entertainment Zone features 55 game studios and publishers including the likes of Capcom, Sega, PlayStation, Xbox, and more. There were 191 games on show, 80+ of which are games made in Southeast Asia.

Most of the audience for gamescom Asia 2023 were online, as the Primetime and Studio shows racked up 2.67 million views online, and 4.7 million “hits” on Steam.

gamescom Asia, which also include a trade show and conferences for B2B networking, will return in 2024 on October 17-20, at the same venue. gamescom is also expanding to Latin America starting this year.
