Title Update 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds is now live. The free content update adds not one, but two new monsters to hunt, as well as a bunch of new features, limited-time events, an unexpected collab as well as new paid DLCs.
The main star of Title Update 2 is the previously teased monster, Lagiacrus. The electrical Leviathan can only be challenged by HR31 or higher players that completed Main Mission “A World Turned Upside Down” as well as Side Mission “Forest Dogashuma.”
The fight will mostly take place on land, but as a throwback to the monster’s original appearance, there will be sequences where the hunt continues underwater.
But Lagiacrus isn’t the only one entering the Wilds. Enter Seregios, the dragon that will make you bleed (as in inflicting the status effect “Bleeding”) with its “bladescales.” Seregios can be hunted by players with HR31 and higher and after completing Main Mission “A World Turned Upside Down.”
8-star Tempered versions of Lagiacrus and Seregios can be challenged by HR41 or higher hunters, once they cleared the original variants.
The new monsters drop parts and materials to craft new weapons and armour.
