Prepare for take-off. Microsoft Flight Simulator, the latest entry since Microsoft Flight Simulator X in 2016, now has a release date.
The flight sim gets an overwhelming graphical update with dynamic weather (that can also use real-life data to match live weather and live flight traffic) as well as improvements to the flight models.
There’s also a new checklist system to help beginners and pros alike to get through the initialisation process of starting a plane.
The three editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator have different access to detailed airports you can land in and planes you can fly. The Deluxe Edition adds five more airports and planes and the Premium Edition adds another five more airports and planes on top of the Deluxe to make it 10 airports and planes.
Judging by the new trailer, the team at Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio have made a beautiful looking flight sim.
Microsoft Flight Simulator takes flight on August 18 for PC. It will also be part of Xbox Game Pass For PC.
