Metaphor: ReFantazio, the next game from the developers of Persona 5 under the new Studio Zero banner, will be releasing this October.
A new trailer and a good chunk of gameplay was showcased today on Atlus’ special Metaphor: ReFantazio broadcast featuring game director Katsura Hashino.
Set in the fantasy lands of The United Kingdom Of Euchronia, the king was assassinated, and later a Royal Magic was cast, and now the world is facing an election by way of a royal tournament.
As the protagonist, you are on a mission to break the curse casted onto the royal prince everyone thought is dead. And you’ll have to participate in the tournament as well. And that’s where you start your journey across the lands: meet allies and gain followers from various tribes around the world.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will launch on October 11 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Windows Store) and Xbox Series X|S.
