Have you yet to try Metaphor: ReFantazio? At least a million players did. Atlus has released a new story trailer, about a month since the game’s release, to entice more players to check out Studio Zero’s new RPG.
With this being the second story trailer, and with plenty of folks that have played the game raving about it, Atlus decided to drop a few more morsels of no-context story bits to pique your interest.
You might be enamoured by the voice of the two Scousers brothers (shout out to the Magnus brothers). Or be intrigued by the intrigue which characters discuss some conspiracy as a very tense music (one of the game’s boss battle music) plays. Or be smitten by the new sights of locales not yet shown in previous marketing promos. Or be swooned by Lady Junah’s beauty which the protagonist can profess to. Or get a good giggle seeing one of the many, many Atlus game references that is in Metaphor: ReFantazio. It can’t be an Atlus game released as part of its 35th anniversary celebration without being able to summon Jack Frost. Being able to summon them as a Devil Summoner? That’s a bonus, hee-ho.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S. A demo is available now, giving you a 4-5 hour taste of the game’s prologue. Check out our review of the game here.
