It’s week 4 of the Borderlands 10th year anniversary event. After the boosted Eridium drops comes an event geared for those that finished the looter-shooter’s campaign, or those that are just watching it on Twitch. The Mayhem on Twitch event sees Mayhem Mode getting an increased chance of Annoited gear drops, increased XP and reduction of various Mayhem Mode penalty modifiers.
Mayhem Mode adds various mutators, mostly against the player’s benefit, but with the promise of better loot. So reduction in penalty modifiers should make things easier.
As for those watching the game as streamed on Twitch, viewers can expect more Badass Viewer Events where a random Badass enemy appears and viewers get to vote to give the enemy buffs. The voting time is quicken so viewers can get in more buffs. Rare chest events also have a 100% guarantee win rate, instead of the 25% of the usual.
The event is live now until October 29th. This is on top of the Bloody Harvest limited-time event, which goes live today and lasts until December 5th.
