If you’re in the mood to splurge more than just for a copy of Marvel’s Wolverine when it comes out this September, why not get one of these limited edition console cover and controller?
PlayStation just announced these new set of new PS5 accessories, and PS5 console bundles, that will launch on September 15 in limited quantities alongside the upcoming game by Insomniac Games.
The console covers, for the current “slim” PS5 and PS5 Pro, feature very eye-catching “Battle Yellow” colour that replicates Wolverine’s Battle Reborn suit as seen in the game. The top plate also features Wolverine himself, designed by If you already have a PS5, you can just get a cover which includes a portrait of a very angry Wolverine by graphic artist Jock who was involved in creating the key art of Marvel’s Wolverine. Those claw marks on the top plate are apparently transparent, letting you see inside the PS5 (well, just the big fan outlet and all the dust accumulated if you haven’t done some cleaning).
For the PS5 Pro, there’s also an alternate colour for the console cover, in “Adamantium” which features the same design but replaces the fetching yellow with a premium metallic white.
There are also two new limited edition DualSense controllers. Available in Battle Yellow and Adamantium colours. It’s primarily a black controller with the accent plastic, graphic scratch marks and rubber analog sticks changed to yellow with the Adamantium version having the graphic scratches and plastic accent piece in metallic white. The sticks are stuck in regular grey, however.
If you’re looking to get a PS5 just for Marvel’s Wolverine, the Limited Edition Marvel’s Wolverine Bundle includes a PS5 or PS5 Pro with the Battle Yellow or Adamantium colours, a DualSense controller of the same matching colour and a digital code for Marvel’s Wolverine.
However for Southeast Asia, only the PS5 Digital Edition bundle (in Battle Yellow) will be available.
