Slavic Magic and Hooded Horse continues to rake it in as they announce sales for the city builder (with medieval military strategy combat) Manor Lords have now exceeded 2.5 million copies.
Manor Lords soar past a million copies sold back in May, just a month since its Early Access in April.
The new sales milestone announcement is timed just as a new update for Manor Lords have gone live after being available in the beta branch for a while. Patch 0.8.004 sees the game upgraded into running on Unreal Engine 5 with new resources spot (fishing ponds for fishermen to fish), food spoiling mechanic (fish spoils faster than bread), the ability to make crossbows and have crossbowmen in your army (or hire a crossbow-equipped mercenary group), and a higher tier of meat. Full patch notes can be found here.
Hooded Horse has been successful at carving their niche of publishing strategy and simulation games. And after their recent “Direct Horse” showcase where they went fully unhinged, it’s a matter of time before Hooded Horse becomes a staple among the many indie publishers out there.
Manor Lords is currently available on PC (Steam) as an Early Access title.
