Maggi Hot Cup Tournament 2021 Moves To League Of Legends: Wild Rift, Qualifiers Beginning This May

ESL Malaysia is partnering again with Maggi Hot Cup to host the 2021 Maggi Hot Cup Tournament.

The third iteration of this community tournament sponsored by the preferred instant noodle/ramen brand of many Malaysians will be moving from Mobile Legends to League Of Legends: Wild Rift, the mobile version of Riot Games’ popular MOBA.

There will be two different qualifiers for any team that wants to compete in the Maggi Hot Cup Tournament 2021. The date of the qualifiers are as follows:

  • Maggi Hot Cup #1 Qualifier: May 21-22
  • Maggi Hot Cup #2 Qualifier: May 28-29

Entry to the Maggi Hot Cup community tournament is free to all players.

Champions of the two qualifiers will walk away with a prize of RM500 plus the opportunity to join the Influencer Showdown, with streamers Fattahzie and Biu Biu as competitors. The Influencer Showdown will be happening as part of the ESL Mobile Open Presents League Of Legends: Wild Rift SEA ICON Series Malaysia Summer Season Playoffs. The mouthful of a tournament name will commence on June 5 to 6.

In addition, Maggi Hot Cup is an official tournament partner for the ESL Mobile Open Presents League Of Legends: Wild Rift SEA ICON Series Malaysia for the Summer and Fall season. This is one of the many ESL Mobile Open tournaments that are now being held in Asia.

Plus, Maggi Hot Cup and ESL Malaysia will be organising a Caster Search to find new shoutcasters (commentators) for this esports scene. That will start on May 8, with the winner getting an opportunity to be part of the talent in future Maggi Hot Cup community tournament.

It’s great to see some big name sponsors and well-established tournament organisers are continuing their support on the grassroots esports scene.
