Logitech G’s latest gaming mice is now available for purchase in Malaysia. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is a new variant of the symmetric, right-handed gaming mouse. More significantly, the mouse is now asymmetric for a more ergonomic feel compared to the previous Pro X Superlight 2 mouse.
The Dex has been designed with pro players’ feedback to fit their needs. The result is a more sculpted shape that fits the right hand better. The left back side of the mouse is more elongated to provide better support to the bottom part of the palm near the wrist, for example.
The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex still maintains the 60g weight. The mouse weighs like there’s nothing in the hands, and the top does feel hollow, because it is- the chassis is located at the bottom of the mouse leaving the top empty.
This mouse’s Lightspeed Wireless tech is upgraded to support 8kHZ polling, a Hero 2 Sensor that can track at speeds over 888 inches per second and acceleration over 88G (with DPI settings up to 44,000), and it uses up to 55% of post-consumer recycled ABS plastic.
Meanwhile, the new Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed is an upgrade to the previous Pro wireless mouse. This ambidextrous mouse of 80g weight is now upgraded with the current Hero 2 sensor. The mouse has two side buttons on either side so that it’s accessible when used in either hands. Two of the buttons can be blanked out, should you wish to use the mouse with one specific hand and want to disable the unused side buttons.
Fascinatingly, the MSRP for these evolution of existing Logitech G Pro mice is not any more expensive than the outgoing models. The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is priced at RM689 similar to the Pro X Superlight 2, while the Pro 2 Lightspeed is at RM549, similar to the Pro wireless mouse.
The The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed wireless gaming mice are now available in Malaysia at Logitech G’s Lazada and Shopee pages. They come in black, white and pink colours.
Logitech G will also be launching the Pro X TKL Rapid keyboard, their first Rapid Trigger keyboard, later this December in Malaysia.
