Lego Builder’s Journey Adds Creative Mode In Free Update

Lego Builder’s Journey, the small-scale puzzler by Light Brick Studio has released a new update to the game, Creative Mode.

This allows players to create their own little Lego dioramas and creations, using the Lego bricks available freely.

There are several themes and build plates that can serve as your starting point. From there, you can pick up bricks from a brick bin, which gives you access to a curated selection of bricks. These bricks can also be recoloured.

The photo mode is also available for you to take screenshots of your creations.

Lego Builder’s Journey is a puzzler with a story, as told by Lego micro-builds. The characters themselves are made up of 1×1 pieces, with each level taking place in a diorama completely build using virtual Lego pieces. The puzzles themselves are rather straightforward- there’s little room for creative building despite the system totally supporting it- so the addition of Creative Mode is nice to see.

There’s another Lego puzzler in the works that will make full use of the brick-building mechanic coming soon in the form of Lego Bricktales.

Lego Builder’s Journey was first released on Apple Arcade and later on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game is also now available on PS4 and PS5 (including on PlayStation Store Asia), as well as on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
