Back 4 Blood, the new 4-player co-op horde shooter from the makers of Left 4 Dead, is coming out real soon. And apparently if you already on Xbox Game Pass, you don’t need to buy it at launch.
Revealed at the 2021 Xbox + Bethesda Showcase is that the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch, both on consoles and PC.
There is cross-play support, so you can play with anyone on any platform.
Also, the new trailer reveals the PvP mode where the other team get to play as the not-zombies called The Ridden. If you’ve played Left 4 Dead, you already know what to expect.
Back 4 Blood is attempting to be another Left 4 Dead with a little twist of their own. Players (and the AI Director) can build a deck of buffs and debuffs that in theory should change the way you play. The cast of playable characters is eight at launch, all having different abilities and specialisations.
Back 4 Blood will be out on October 12 for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
