Developer Kunos Simulazioni has patched Assetto Corsa Evo to version 0.1.5, fixing the online server issues the racing sim, currently in Early Access.
With servers back online, the online-only features of the game which includes game economy, academy (license test-esque challenges), car ownership and personalisation, and special events have been fully restored.
Assetto Corsa Evo has been receiving updates every week since its Early Access launch (patch notes for version 0.1.2, 0.1.3 and 0.1.4), with plenty of bug fixes being made, from graphics and rendering issues to audio changes of cars. The latest update makes changes to the sound of the Honda S2000, where the engine noise now change in tone, it gets a bit more raspier as you goes into higher RPM, when the VTEC kicks in. As a Honda with a VTEC engine should.

Assetto Corsa Evo launched in Early Access, and we do mean early. There’s a lot of rough edges currently in this proper sequel to beloved racing sim. But sentiment of the game has since improved from its troubled launch, with Steam reviews currently sitting at Mostly Positive for 72% of the 7,000+ reviews on Steam at the time of writing.
Assetto Corsa Evo is available on PC via Steam. The game is set to release in full later this year.
