Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s new game was first announced at Tokyo Game Show. The studio behind Yakuza is making Judge Eyes which will be out soon in Japan.
The game is also coming out to the West in English. Previously known as Project Judge, we now have its proper title revealed, Judgment.
Play as Takayuki Yagami, a lawyer turned private investigator as he uncovers the mysterious, gruesome murders of several Yakuza members. While you will be doing some private eye activities (tailing suspects, search for clues, etc.), Yagami is quite a fighter. So expect Yakuza-style combat, and silly absurdity, alongside its serious main plot.
This new trailer, as revealed at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, highlights the English dub for the game. Have a look:

For those who prefer subs over dubs, not to worry. It is confirmed that Judgment will have dual audio, English and Japanese. Both audio have different subtitles too. The English subtitle will match what English voiceovers exactly say while for Japanese, it’s the usual localised text you expect from past Yakuza games.
For anyone wondering about the original Japanese VO in Judgment, the game will launch with dual audio, meaning you can swap back and forth at will!
Dual subs as well based on which audio track is selected – EN matches the EN script, JP subs are the traditional Yakuza experience.
