Immortals Fenyx Rising – Formerly Called Gods & Monsters – Releasing In December

The game formerly titled as Gods & Monsters gets a new name and a more in-depth look at the second Ubisoft Forward livestream of 2020.

It’s now called Immortals Fenyx Rising, and the team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (Ubisoft Quebec) surely has made a new take on The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

Immortals Fenyx Rising see protagonist Fenyx on a quest to save the Greek gods by fighting mythological beasts and then later take on Typhon. But she needs to grow stronger first by gaining the power of the gods.

Immortals Fenyx Rising features an open world, a stylised look, dungeons where you need to solve puzzles as well as combat challenges, customisation options and tons of crafting. It really follows closely what Breath Of The Wild did, which is Nintendo’s take on the open-world RPG.

You can watch 11 minutes worth of gameplay here, if you’re not convinced. It ticks a lot of the same Breath Of The Wild boxes.

Immortals Fenyx Rising launches on December 3 for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and Stadia.
